Story

Hello to all!!

I am leaving for Tanzania on August 12, 2009

I will be volunteering my time in East Africa for a period of nine months with a registered non-governmenatal organization. The Amani Children's Foundation cares for more then 340 children in the kilimanjaro area. Amani was founded in 2001 and since then, has rescued thousands of children from the streets of Tanzania. This organization believes in providing chilren with a safe and nutritious environment so that they can learn and develop.

Amani is consistently growing and continues to require generous support to maintain its success.  Any donations would support the school directly in terms of providing food, clothing, school supplies and the general maintenance of the building that the children call home.

Your specific donation might provide a table for children to eat on, send a child to school for a year, or pay for bandages and antibiotics.

$10 School uniform for one child.

$25 Sheets and blankets for two children at Amani.

$50 Provides medical care for an average of 35 children living on the streets.

$100 Three healthy meals for all the children at Amani for one day.

$200 First semester at Secondary School.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
