On July 8th 2006 I completed the Fireweed 400 (www.fireweed400.com), a non-stop 400 mile bicycle race in Alaska, with 28000 feet of ascent (that's Everest!) in 22 hours and 31 minutes. Whilst I did this for the pure challenge I also hope to use this endeavour to support The Eve Appeal (www.eveappeal.org.uk, U.K.) and The Leukemia and Lyphoma Society (www.leukemia-lymphoma.org, U.S.A) in memory of my cousin Hannah who died at the age of only 23. 

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Eve Appeal will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you. At the end of my fundraising effort, Eve Appeal will transfer 50% of the money raised direct to The Leukemia and Lyphoma Society to support valuable research and patient care on both sides of the Atlantic.
