Sky Jump @ Sky Tower, Auckland. NZ · 3 April 2006

The Parkinson's Appeal is a charity, which was set up by our founder Lyn Rothman to raise funds for a Deep Brain Stimulation Team headed up by the world-renowned Professor Marwan Hariz. It is through kind donations that we are able to continue our research to alleviate the soul destroying symptoms of Parkinson's disease and other neurological and movement disorders.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

SKY JUMP: 192m (630ft) - NZ's HIGHEST JUMP

Dans hoping to leap from Auckland's spectacular Sky Tower – the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere! The building is 630 feet tall thats nearly 4 times as tall as Tewkesbury Abbey. Falling at approx 75kph for around 16 seconds.

I'm aiming to raise around 400 pounds of which 90 pounds will be used to pay for the jump. Any money raised after that will go to The Parkinsons Appeal.

Hannah will be doing a sky-dive in New Zealand the day after Dans sky jump. We will pay for the sky-dive ourselves so all money raised will go straight to The Parkinsons Appeal. Anyone that knows me well knows that I hate heights so dig deep!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Parkinson's Appeal will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
