Story

Hi All,

In Jan 2010 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support representing Service Birmingham on an event being organised by Capita.

Kilimanjaro, at 5895 metres, is the highest point on the African Continent and the world’s tallest free standing mountain. The altitude and the low temperature make this a difficult and often dangerous trek….. There is a risk of Altitude sickness and many climbers fail to reach the summit, so wish me luck.

I'd be very grateful for any help you can give, I will be paying for the prep and equipment myself, and have been targeted to raise £5000 in total, this target is set by Capita who will be contributing to the total.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So, if you can please sponsor me now!
