My wife and I decided to run the marathon in San Diego. The marathon is called the 'Rock n Roll' marathon as it has 45 live bands as well as 2,000 cheerleaders spread along the scenic 26.2 mile route.
The work of Sightsavers International has a large impact on some of the most vulnerable people in the poorest of the global emerging markets. The charity works to both prevent and cure blindness, restore sight and provide education and training for people who are blind.
