I did it.  45th out of 157 runners in a time of 42 hours, 27 minutes and 53 seconds.  It was exceedingly painful, but there were a lot of people in worse pain than me.

Huge thanks to all those people who sent messages of support during the race and followed my progress.  In the dark moments when you think you are on your own, it really helps.
