Story

Ladies and Gentlemen - thank you for your selflessness.

Rob and John were quite happy to attempt the mammoth challenge of cycling 1400km in under 5 days without any reason other than the challenge itself - but we've had so many people ask us how to donate to our charity that we decided it was high time to support one.

We have chosen Yorkhill Children's Charity.

In their own words: "our driving passion is to fund any initiative that helps to save or improve the life of a child and by association positively affect the lives of their family."

And that is what they do.

Rob's niece Orla was very ill for the first year of her life with toxoplasmosis and spent a considerable amount of time in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) - however with the continued support of Yorkhill staff, she is now enjoying life to the full and will be 2 in a number of weeks.

So here's an attempt at 1400km - to improving the lives of children.

And thank you for supporting them.

About the charity

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.
