Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.

Story

Proud doesn't begin to describe the feeling of being associated with such a brilliant bunch of people who for the fourth year in a row will be taking to the roads to raise money for some really heroic efforts to help kids in need. The work of Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Childline is just mindblowing, and every penny makes a difference.

I'm riding along with a load of people from my work at TeamRock, so please feel free to put your money their way or indeed towards anyone on the Heavy Metal Truants team. The 161 miles northward to Download is not a race, and this isn't a competition - it all goes to help the kids who need it most. If you do donate, please be generous - you'll be a god in my book.

Onward!
