It is said that 1 in 3 people will develop cancer sometime during their lifetime and over a quarter of a million people with in each year.

I do not have personnal experience of cancer myself, or experienced it with a loved one, but I do know people who have. Given the statistics if you have not experienced cancer at all, the probability is you will.

It is for this reason and from testimonials i've read on the support and help given by Macmillan, that I plan to raise £'s+++++ for Macmillan cancer support in a trek to Everest base camp.
