The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.

Along with Steve and a team of ex rugby league professionals we completed the Carnegie Challenge Cup Challenge, cycling over 1000 mile from Catalan to Windsor, the rowing 24 miles on the River Thames in a dragon boat, topped off with a a ½ Marathon run into Wembley on the morning of the Challenge Cup Final.

This was the toughest two weeks of my life, but I met a fantastic group of people and it's been a pleasure to be assocatied with the foundation.

All funds raised by the the Steve Prescott Foundation are equally split between The Christie Cancer Hospital and the RFL Benevolent Fund, which helps sick and injured Rugby League Players.

Our latest fundraising event is the St Helens 10k Run on Sunday 20th March 2010, not quite on the same scale as the 1000 bike ride, but still a great event to help raise money and awareness for the Foundation.

Your continued support is greatly appreciated and It would be fantastic if I could raise £10,000 for these great causes, so please donate kindly, any donation is greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Darren

Click here to look at our video footage
