<p><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Back in 2009 I embarked on a once in a life time challenge to raise money for the "Steve Prescott Foundation". Along with Steve and a team of ex rugby league professionals we completed the Carnegie Challenge Cup Challenge, cycling over 1000 mile from </span><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Catalan to Windsor, the rowing 24 miles on the River Thames in a dragon boat, topped off with a a ½ Marathon run into Wembley on the morning of the Challenge Cup Final.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span>This was the toughest two weeks of my life, but I met a fantastic group of people and it's been a pleasure to be assocatied with the foundation. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Verdana;">All funds raised by the the Steve Prescott Foundation are equally split between The Christie Cancer Hospital and the RFL Benevolent Fund, which helps sick and injured Rugby League Players.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span></p>
<p>Our latest fundraising event is the <a title="StevePrescott10K" href="http://www.steveprescottfoundation.co.uk/Events/EventDetails/tabid/85/smid/409/ArticleID/193/Default.aspx" target="_blank">St Helens 10k Run on Sunday 20th March 2010</a>, not quite on the same scale as the 1000 bike ride, but still a great event to help raise money and awareness for the Foundation. </p>
