We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

I am cycling for Diabetes UK because when I went for a well man check with my doctor I found myself one of the three people diagnosed with Diabetes every ten minutes…

I always thought I was a well man until someone tested that fact, and on Christmas Eve 2012 I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. For the rest of my life I have to manage this with multiple daily injections of Insulin, a healthy diet and regular physical activity, but it is not all bad news as it has pushed me into cycling. So when this challenge came up it seemed really appropriate to use the good from the bad to try and do some more good. Please sponsor me as by 2025 it is estimated that five million people will have diabetes in the UK which means it is not far away from any of you…
