The Cape Wrath Challenge · 8 February 2009

Imagine waking up and not recognising your own child, not remembering your family or friends, and having to re-learn everything in life. Headway Essex cares for people who have acquired a brain injury through sporting or work accidents, road traffic accidents, assault, illness, or disease.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway Essex gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation

The Cape Wrath Challenge isn't just a marathon it's a 5 day event running from the 17th may to the 23rd. Day 1 is a half marathon, day 2 is a 5.3 mile run, day 3 is an 8 mile run, day 4 is a beach run and day 5 is the marathon. It's in Cape Wrath which is the most North Western tip of Scotland so the mountains are a big factor in the difficulty level. For all the events I will be carrying a bergan(rucksack) weighing 45lb's and running in boots as if it wasn't difficult enough. There are three of us doing this challenge and any monies donated are truly appreciated

So please sponsor me now!
