Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This page has been created in memory of my husband Darren aged 34, who died from a brain tumour just 13months after diagnosis. He was a dedicated husband and father to four boys, pictured here with Alex and had a real passion for life. I would like to help raise awareness and try to improve life for those diagnosed with brain tumours and their families. We have several events planned for 2007 and hope to exceed our target! Darrens mum is raising money through her sponsored diet, and some of his friends are running in the Lincoln 10k run in March. We are having a 'kick-a-thon' with the NEEMAF martial arts students in June. Anyone interested in taking part in events, please contact me for further info.
****************************************************************************************** UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have raised £1400 in sponsorship at the Lincoln 10k run, well done to the runners, Julia, Matt, Martin, Chris, Bob and Adam. We are so proud of you all thank you for taking part! The money will be added to the fund as soon as it is collected in I am pleased to announce a further £1700 has been raised by NEEMAF martial arts students during a Kicka-thon! Many thanks to all who took part ******************************************************************************************
