Story
On the 25th February 2010 Richard Tapp, Colin Bradley, Chris Hunter and Kris Hartshorn will be attempting the Guinness World Record for ‘Endurance darts’ the world record currently stands at 26hrs and 49mins and we plan to smash it. The record attempt will be held in the Abbey inn kinloss. The record attempt will start at 9am on the Thursday morning and conclude on Friday afternoon.
We are hoping to smash this record and raise money for charity. The charity we have chosen is Help for Heroes as I’m sure you have guessed from the picture. Currently we have set a target of £500 so all donations will be gratefully appreciated. For this attempt to be valid we will require 2 witnesses present at all time, 1 scorer and 1 person to keep the log book up to date so any time donated will be just as valuable.
Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I will take this opportunity to invite everyone down to the abbey in kinloss as we will definitely need your support to get through the record attempt especially in the later stages when I’m sure sleep deprivation will be setting inThank you for taking the time to read this page and remember all donations will be greatly appreciated
