We are Daryl, Stuart, Matt, Gene, Dan, Kieron and we all work for a company called sia Abrafoam, based in Derbyshire.

Our aim - to raise fantastic amounts of money for Children in Need, our company chosen charity for 2011.

How we plan to do this - by doing a coast to coast bike ride from Whitehaven to Sunderland. For cycle fanatics that's 135 miles over two days.

When are we doing this - 26-27th August 2011.

About us - as you can see from our pictures we’re no athletes! Needless to say it's not going to be easy but it will certainly be fun and it's for a worthwhile cause.

Children in Need helps families and children nationwide. You only need to watch the programme to be compelled to donate, even if you're not a parent, there are always others less fortunate than us and our families, and a small amount can make all the difference. As a team, we're even more determined to raise the £500 target we've set and with your generosity and kindness towards the charity, we genuinely believe we can achieve this.
