David Mercado & Adam Perry in a moment of utter madness have decided to run / jog / limp this years New York Marathon in November.

For those of you who know us and many of our hair brained schemes, (like moving to Australia ) will be aware we like a challenge and this will probably be the toughest of them all. We moaned about walking around Bloomingdales last time we were in New York together, so running 26 miles around the 5 boroughs is going to be quite the adventure.

The charity we have chosen we think is very relevant (please see the blurb to the left). Whilst we are in a position to undertake such a venture as theMarathon, there are those less physically able individuals who require financial help in fulfilling their sporting dreams and aspirations; all who are far more talented then the two of us. We have set quite an ambitious target, but when you think the cost of a sports wheelchair is £3000, it’s just a drop in the ocean.

We will be undertaking a few events leading up to November to help us in our fundraising and of course training hard. We already have various races (including several half marathons) planned throughout the yeat and will keep you updated with our progress.
