The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My employer, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, are entering a team of 200 employees on a charity cycle ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Palace. This year I have chosen the 90 mile route after completing the 45 mile route in 2015.

Last year, HP and its customers and partners raised £245,000 for The Prince's Trust.

2016 is the 40th Anniversary of The Prince's Trust. They support 13 to 30 year olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people they help are either in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or they have been in trouble with the law.

The Trust gives vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work.

They run programmes that encourage young people to take responsibility for themselves – helping them build the life they choose rather than the one they’ve ended up with.
