Now with your help I am once again aiming for Gold, this time for a great cause, DGS Mencap.  In case you were not aware DGS Mencap support people with learning disabilities in the local area and desperately need our help to raise funds.

What you may not know is that I had an operation on my right knee on the 20th March and am currently wearing a knee brace on the other knee as I torn that ligament a couple of weeks ago (my middle name is Lucky!)...BUT if I have to hobble round the £10K then so be it...(the sympathy vote should bring in more donations!).

Just so you are aware, your donation will cover two 10K runs, the first is Sunday 15th June at Bluewater and the second is on the 6th July in London, so the challenge is even greater (hint hint for you to dig a little deeper please!) AND I would love to reach my fundraising target.
