Hi, and thanks for visiting my own part of this web-site.
I am planning to run the Great North Run in September, which is a half marathon around Newcastle . I am raising money for The Meningitis Research Foundation. I have raised money for this charity before and they mean so much to me and my family. When I was just 16 days old I was hit with this disease and I was in hospital for almost 3 weeks. As you can imagine, not the best time for my parents when I was so young. Worst was still to come. In 2001, my brother was at Southampton University , when a MASSIVE outbreak happened. Luckily, he was not affected, but a lot of his friends were, and some spent a large amount of time in hospital. Just take a look at what a small donation can do for this charity: £1 100 symptoms cards Please fill in ALL your details as the charity can claim GIFT AID (an extra 28%) via the government, at no extra cost to yourself. The photo you can see is the photo that appeared in the KM. yes those pants you see are the very same pants i will be wearing during the race. THEY ARE PHUNKY PANTS! Yellow and black striped pants. Please, just for that you have to sponsor me something! Please give as much as you can. Thank you Dave Evans
