Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
I'm fortunate in not knowing any terminally ill children, but as a parent (and ex-kid) I know how much children's wishes mean to them. To go ... To meet ... To be ... To have. They might be secret wishes. Some might even come true.
Make-A-Wish Foundation is a great idea. It is there to help young people with life-threatening illnesses to delve deep into their imaginations to select a wish, then to help make this come true. In difficult times the anticipation, pleasure and memories this gives can give strength and joy to these children and their families. It's done this for thousands of children so far.
I'm running the Berlin marathon on the 20 September. I doubt I'll ever do another (the training is taking it's toll!), so this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Please donate if you can.
Thanks
Dave
