On Sunday the 20th I ran the Brighton Brooks 10k and set a new personal best of 52.10 so training is starting to pay off ! I have alot of training still to do but if I reach my total every step will be worth it. Just gotta keep running !
Thanks for taking the time to visit.
I’m running the London Marathon for the Royal London Society For The Blind.
As many of you know my father is blind and lost his sight at quite a young age, Recently he retired from his job as Headmaster of one of the best primary schools in the area, proving that being blind or partially sighted shouldn’t ever hold you back.
The Royal London Society For The Blind is a charity very close to my heart as they campaign and offer the resources to blind and partially sighted people to have the chance to live life without boundaries and achieve as much as their sighted peers.
Training is hard but more than worth it as its such a great charity, anything you can spare will be a huge help and very gratefully received.
Thank you in advance
David.
