Hi!
Thank you for visiting
my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me! Please read before sponsoring...
My Charities:
World Firefighter Games
2010, Daegu, South
Korea
West Yorkshire are sending a team to
South Korea
next August and we're currently fund raising for that. I'll be running the
marathon in the hot and humid Korean conditions!

of everything raised will go to the
Fire Fighter's Charity.
If
you wish to donate to the World Firefighter Games fund then contact me directly.
International Rescue Corps
As
always I'm collecting for my usual charity the International Rescue Corps. They
attend natural and man made disasters operating as a "first phase rescue
team specifically in casualty location.

you want to donate to the IRC you can do this online...
Donating through this
site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to
sponsor me: International Rescue Corps will receive your money faster and, if
you are a UK
taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Training Following on from my 3 London Marathons (2002,2003,2007), Great North Run
(2006) and many other races I stepped up the training again in the summer of
2009 and recently ran a PBs at the Robin Hood Marathon (3:28:05), Macclesfield
Half Marathon (1:31:43), Harewood 10 Mile (1:12:12),
Hyde
Park 5k (0:19:34).
Saturday is the Snowdonia Marathon, a tough hilly course like nothing I've done
before!
26/10/09 Update!!! It was like nothing I’ve done
before…atrocious weather, brutal hills and severe cramp at 22.5. Got going
again though and slipped under 4 hours in 3:55:50!
Thanks so much for the sponsorship presents and birthday wishes...what a present the whole weekend was!
08/11/09 Update
Old Deer Park 10k, Richmond - shambles of a race but I still managed to battle the crowds of slower runners to post a new PB of 41:15!
24/11//09 Update
2 more PBs - 1:08:53 at the Preston 10 Mile Road Race and to round of the season in style finally sub-40 at the Abbey Dash 10k! Hard winter of training ahead now!
For the rest of 2009:
* Chevin Chase on Boxing Day
Vague
plans for 2010 are:
* Brass Monkey Half Marathon in January,
* East Hull 20 (miles) in March then
* Rotterdam Marathon in April
* before flying out to Daegu for the WFFGs in
August...!!
