Namibia Desert Challenge for The Prince's Trust · 23 February 2007 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thank you very much for visiting my sponsorship page, and to those who have already sponsored me, an even bigger thank you.

I have happily agreed to do a trip for the Princes Trust, a fab organisation that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working, a worthy cause I think you will all agree.

I will be racing across one of the world's oldest deserts in Namibia following the Skeleton Coast, generally regarded as the most hostile stretch  of coastline on the planet.  This will involve 6 days of gruelling, 8 hour a day cycling, trekking and abseiling.

So please please sponsor me, and many many thanks for your support,

Dave Holton

"Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prince's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you."
