THAMES MEANDER 54MILES · 15 December 2007

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Over the forth-coming year, I have set my self a personnel goal of completing three ULTRA marathons in the aid of the Downs Syndrome Association (DSA).  On the 16 Feb 08, I will be taking part in the Thames Meander, 54 miles from Reading to Surbiton; followed by the Marlborough Downs challenge in May, 33 miles and the Devil o' the Highlands" a 43 Mile footrace from Tyndrum (Perthshire) to Fort William in August.

I have a 5-year-old daughter, Rachael who was born with Downs and therefore it is a charity close to my heart.  The money that I can raise for the DSA goes towards assisting support and training for children and adults who have Downs.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Down's Syndrome Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
