Had three slipped discs and when I was feeling sorry for myself I reminded myself that there are people who had to wait a lot longer than me to get seen by a specialist/get epidural injections so decided that I would try and raise some money towards a back charity.

Chose cycling, because that's about all I can do at the moment, no running, football, squash, boxing, rock-climbing or abseiling.

And a trip to the Great Wall of China was a no-brainer, just got to buy myself a bike now, tried to borrow the office bike but ........... stop it !!

Anyway I have paid for the trip out of my own money so all of the money raised will go to the Back Care charity - any donations greatfully received
