Story

Once again, Dave has decided to do something charitable for selfish reasons.

I suffer from mild acrophobia (fear of heights),
and if abseiling 500 feet(150 metres) down Guy's Hospital Tower on behalf of the Myasthenia Gravis Association doesn't cure it, nothing will.

Another reason for me to do it is the nature of the disease.
In case you don't know, MG causes (sometimes fatal) muscle weakness.

It is sometimes known as "rag-doll disease" for obvious reasons.

Imagine starting to read a book but not being able to finish it because you can't pick it up the next day or finding it suddenly impossible to lift your cup of tea.

So ... If you want to help MG sufferers and me, please get that plastic out!

Thanks a trillion,
Dave.
