Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that only occurs in women. It affects just over one woman in a million. We are a self-help group providing support for patients with LAM and raise money for vital research - it is often difficult to obtain money for research into a rare disease.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am hoping to run the London Marathon in April this year and my chosen charity is LAM Action as my Fiance's sister, Audrey, has this lung disease. She is presently waiting on a lung transplant. As you can see it is a  very rare disease and therefore hard to get funding for and I would appreciate if you could help by sponsoring me. I did the marathon 3 years ago in 4 hours 46 minutes and hope to improve on that time. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: LAM Action will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
