My story

Thank you all so much for supporting me. I have now well and truly exceeded the fundraising pledge so my place is assured.
That's the good news.
The bad is that I've trapped the sciatica nerve in my left leg and have, as a consequence, had to pull out of Sunday's race which is, as you can imagine, deeply disappointing and frustrating.

At the mo, I am 90% better but still receiving physio treatment. However, running feels like I have borrowed somebody else's left leg and in any event, missing 3 weeks training at this crucial stage is a disaster.

The organisers at Phabkids are happy to carry over my sponsorship and my marathon place to 2010 under the circumstances. Obviously they also get to use your sponsorship money immediately though.

Bottom line is, if you're cool with that, all well and good. If not, and you would like your donation back, let me know and Phabkids will return it.
