Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

My first fundraiser is a duathlon at castle combe on the 5th August 2007. This involves a run of 5km then a bike ride of 20km followed by a final run of 3km. I will be doing the bike ride on my penny farthing and the whole event in period fancy dress. I intend to do quite a few events on the penny farthing, including Lands end to John O'Groats next year.Check out www.pennyfarthingmadness.blogspot.com for details of my fundraising events and plans.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sands will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

17 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth every day in the UK.  Sands belives this figure to be unacceptably high, and wants to ensure that as few parents as possible have to experience this devastating loss.

With your support and the money and awareness that I can potentially raise Sands can continue supporting those affected by the death of a baby and promote research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

If you would like any further information about Sands please visit their website at www.uk-sands.org

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
