My story
Dave, Sara and Jeremy are walking from Devizes to London in memory of Miles Seegobin.
After battling depression for some time, Sara's brother Miles took his own life in 2009 aged 28. He was a fantastic brother and meant alot to many people; it is for this reason that we have decided to support "Rethink" which is a charity who help support anyone who is affected by mental illness.
We will be walking 125 miles in 4 days (equivalent to 201Km for the Europeans amongst you) which for any of you have walked more than 30 miles in a day will appreciate that doing 4 in a row is quite a challenge.
This is not your average "please sponsor us to do a charity abseil" (see this page one year ago) so we would very much appreciate if you can dig deep and help us to reach or exceed our goal of £5000.
As some of you will know, Jeremy is a famous TV star and he has kindly agreed to complete the walk with us as a celebrity face to help pull in the funds.
If anyone would like to come and see us finish on Saturday 17th September, we will most probably finish in a pub in the Battersea area around lunch time. Please feel free to come and buy us a pint / watch us fall over.
