The Motability Scheme helps 650,000 disabled people in the UK by leasing them a suitable and affordable car, powered wheelchair or scooter. Motability, as a charity helps around 8,000 Scheme customers each year who cannot afford the vehicles, adaptations or driving lessons they need.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 7th July, myself and several RSA and Motability representatives will be undertaking  a 300 mile cycling marathon to raise funds for Motability, Cancer Research and The British Heart Foundation. We will be cycling from  Edinburgh castle to the RSA offices in Liverpool, with the event taking 4 days in total. We will be cycling 60 - 90 miles a day!

Each year RSAM supports the charitable objectives of Motability by raising much needed funds to support the most vulnerable people with disabilities on the Motability Scheme who need extra financial help to get them on the road.

Cancer Research UK; the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 3,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Link to fundraising page: http://www.justgiving.com/daveyoung-CancerResearch

The British Heart Foundation is the nation's heart charity. Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients.
