Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We have now finished the trek and covered approximately 70km (30km more than was expected) but we are still raising funds - please show your support. Also, check out www.wave105saharatrek.com for photos, videos, diary and some funnies too.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
On Thursday 18th March 2010, I fly out to Morocco (with a dozen other suicidal participants) to trek across approximately 40km of Saharan Desert to raise money for disadvantaged kids in the Wave 105 FM's area. The trek will be done over 2 days and will also provide an education for us on life in the Sahara and the Berbers who will be our guides.
For more information on the charity, please visit http://www.wave105.com/Article.asp?id=953715&spid=28918
I'm sure you'll agree this is a very worthwhile cause and I look forward to accepting your donation. Remember to tick the gift aid box; we get an extra 28p per £ from the Taxman. Also, do not forget to include your donation on your self assessment tax return (the charity number is 1126979) this is tax deductible.
Thanks and wish me luck.
