It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Pancreatic Cancer is the most agressive, least treatable and most underfunded form of cancer.

In February, Peter Wood, my friend of 25 years and business partner of nearly 10 years, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He died six desperate weeks later leaving behind a young widow, two small children and half a lifetime of joy and fulfilment.

On the 4th October a small group of Peter's friends will be taking part in the Autumn Epic Cyclosportive; 150km of hill riding with a climb of 3000m through central Wales. This is a link to the website http://www.cyclosportives.co.uk/epicHome.htm.

This Autumn Pancreatic Cancer UK are launching the first Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Week. We hope to raise sponsorship to donate a significant amount to their target of £1m. Your generosity will make a difference to those who will be diagnosed in the future. http://www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/index.htm.
