My story

I've been talked into running the London Marathon on behalf of Childline by my friend Tom, who is helping put a team together for Childline 25

I'm sure Im probably not the only person who will ask you to sponsor them this year for one of a number of very worthwhile events where the proceeds go to charity, however I beg you, if you do decide to sponsor just one person this year whose first name is David, can it be me? ( unless its David Walliams of course, in which case understand why you'd pick him!! )

If I dont finish I'll also personnally give you the amount you donated back, although hopefully you'll be so sorry for me you wont ask.

I've attached a recent photo of me so I'm hoping you're thinking, "What have i got to lose?"

Well.....

You ....nothing ! and you gain the pleasure of knowing you have helped a really worthwhile chairty.

Me .....3 stone!

.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks

David

My updates 1

Thank you so much for your donation. Sadly I managed to complete the marathon so you wont be getting your money back! The time of 4 hours 44 mins was a little disappointing and due to severe cramp I had for the last 12 miles. Your sponsorship really kept me going, Thank you x
