My story
Me and three mates (team: The SCUKers) have entered a two day endurance snowboarding race, the aim is to raise money by covering more than 150km and a 10km night hike, otherwise known as the Snow Camp Alpine Challenge 2013.
For perspective, the average recreational skier/snowboarder covers approx. 20-25km per day on holiday. We're being tasked with covering this distance three times over, two days running, with a 10km hike in between.
This is going to be a hugely physical challenge and I've already started training to get "match fit" so please support my efforts for, a great charity.
SnowCamp is a great charity, taking kids in dead-end places and inspiring them with the Alps, teaching them valuable life skills and motivating them for the future through education and snow sports.

Today I'm having a rest day, my right leg seems to be hurting again and I'm at circuit training again tomorrow. I hope it's nothing too serious.
Trampoline was awesome tonight, only made the last hour, but going for a run tomorrow! Thrown some videos up on facebook too.
Training is continuing tonight, this time of the trampoline variety. Got the GoPro with me so will try and get a few snaps or some footage to put up too. Hopefully my niggling leg pain will cease!

Snow-Camp is a youth charity established in 2003 to provide disadvantaged young people from London’s inner-city areas with the chance to experience snowsports. As well as offering the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard, Snow-Camp includes a youth focused Life-skills course designed to enable young people to reflect on the key issues that impact their lives.
