My story

 

Thank you for visiting this page. Now the hard part is over, the next bit is easy :-)

It's really, really simple: I am running the Conwy Castle/Great Orme Llandudno Half Marathon on November 8 and I want to try and help some people in the process.

I'm not setting a massive, incomprehensible target - just £100. Doesn't sound much in the scheme of things, but the money will go towards helping adults and their families living with a terminal illness.

St David's Hospice is based in North Wales and looks after a massive area with minimal funding - far less than English hospices enjoy.

I hope I never have to use such a facility, but I might. And statistically a few of you reading this now might too.

They do an amazing job and even if you could sponsor just £2 - less than a pint - then that's £2 more than they had before.

And the best bit is you get the warm fuzzy feeling of giving!

So please do give a tiny little something if you can, and if you fancy coming along on the day to see a sweating/smelly/knackered Dave, then that would be super!
