Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On 21st May 2008 myself and four friends will be setting off from Lands End on a gruelling 1,000 mile cycle ride in just 10 days to John O'Groats.  We're sure you'll agree this is not an easy challenge, especially when taking into account that we will be unsupported and carrying all the equipment we need for the journey.

Furthermore, during the journey we will also be cycling over the highest mountain road in the Lake District (and possibly England), Kirkstone Pass!

Between us we want to try and raise £10,000 for charitable causes.  We are funding the accommodation and costs of the ride ourselves and this means that every penny we raise will go to the selected charities.  So, please dig deep and sponsor me now, all donations will be greatly appreciated.

Please visit our website (www.endtoend08.co.uk) to find out how much money we've raised between us for all of the charities combined. The website also includes details of our route, rider profiles, photos and the live blog will provide a summary of our progress on the ride.

If you need to know more about donating through this site, here's something for you:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: International Glaucoma Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
