We raise money to help treat & beat heart and lung disease

Story

I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in August with my eldest daughter, Joelle, in memory of my oldest friend Steven Jacobs.

Latest news - we made it!  5895m, 6 days, 50 miles of trekking, no running water! Under canvas at minus 10 and lots of blisters, we summited on Friday 14th August 8 1/2  hrs after leaving our tents at midnight.

Steven suddenly and tragically passed away age 51years in March 2009 of an undiagnosed heart condition.

I have decided to raise money for Harefield hospital, who are pioneers in the research and treatment of heart disease.

I would like to raise enough money so that the hospital will honour Steven .

Our target is £6,000 to purchase heart monitoring equipment.

All of the money raised will go to Harefield Hospital and NOT in any way towards the cost of the expedition.

We are excited to take on this great challenge and honour the life of a great husband, father and friend.

Please give generously.

Thank you

David
