Abandoned on the Old Trafford centre circle when the stork got lost (before the turn of the century), David is as much part of the Manchester United furniture as the stadium itself. He’s often to be heard telling Sir Alex Ferguson what he’s doing wrong, and regaling ditty’s from afar about when he looked after the Busby babes, when they were just well, babes.

 

David’s well documented love for all things Liverpool is legendary. So, with that, for the good of The Lighfund coffers, he has offered* / been persuaded* /  been ordered* (delete where applicable) to perform a rousing rendition of Liverpool’s anthemic terrace tune, “You never walk alone”

I think it would be safe to say, you won’t ever have heard a version of this performed with such gusto, as I’m sure David will provide.

I have it on good authority that if we raise enough money, an encore is already and waiting. As fitting tribute to the newly crowned Premier League Champions, Blue Moon, anyone?
