It has taken me 35 years (yes, 35!) to sort my application form out and enter the Great North Run. I'll be running in support of the Alzheimer's Research Trust.  

The Alzheimer's Research Trust is the UK's leading research charity for dementia. They are dedicated to funding scientific studies to find ways to treat, cure or prevent Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy Body disease and fronto-temporal dementia.

All donations would be greatly received and very much appreciated.

Look out for me on the TV (I'll be towards the back!).
