Yes its true I did it!! It was quite an ordeal. The cycle was fine (except a bit of cramp in the calf!), Driving home to Nottingham in the car for 4 hours was probably not the best warm down!!.

I have wanted to do this ride for at least 30 years, so it was great to realise an ambition!  

Will I do it next year?......lets wait and see!
