I am delighted to report that our team of 9 all completed the c2c cycle trip, crossing the proverbial finishing line together in Tynemouth yesterday at 12.30pm.

 

A great time was had by all, although the weather on our first day( last Friday) might have been better – it rained for most of day and the wind was an easterly – the weather and the wind for the remainder of our journey were much kinder to us.

 

Both the tin knees and the gluteus maximus held up remarkably well I am please to say – the training I did certainly seemed to have paid off.

To date, I have raised the superb sum of £3,000 for the Percy Hedley Foundation, so a very big thank you to all who have already sponsored me.
