Why does Mencap need its very own Santa:

"Mencap needs its very own Santa because we want to raise lots of money so that we can continue to bring help and support to the lives of people with a learning disability for 365 days a year (and because next year - there are 366 days to pay for as its a leap year!)

What special qualities do you have that would make you the perfect Santa for 2007?
I'm round. red nosed and jolly - the ideal person to fill Santa's boots

Santa is responsible for upholding the magic and spirit of Christmas. If you could grant the Mencap community one wish, what would it be?
All tied up in a Christmas parcel I would grant those in the Mencap Community:

The energy to continue to fight for the best
The wisdom to understand what is the best and how to get it
The persistence that's needed to bring about real change -
and the good humour to keep us going in the meantime.
