Hospice in the Weald provides specialist palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, and support and counselling for their families.The Hospice covers an area of 400 square miles in West Kent and the north of East Sussex, supporting a population of 300,000.

My story

David passed away peacefully on the 17th of December 2008 after suffering significant brain injury caused by a very sudden heart attack.

He spent his last few days at the Hospice in the Weald.

In his memory a number of us are going to attempt to conquer the Tunbridge Wells half marathon.

Please give as generously as possible as The Hospice in the Weald relies solely on charitable donations. It provided such brilliant care for David during his last days. We want to raise as much as possible in his honour to ensure that the Hospice is there to help others in the future. We will all be running 13.1 miles on the 15th of February so please don't hold back in your donations or indeed support for us on race day!! Indeed if you are also feeling strong we would love as many to join the fund raising and run the race too - you will need to register so if you are feeling brave **click here**
