Its main project is to support and fund a dedicated brain cancer research laboratory and team who will develop a northern based centre of excellence, providing leading edge research into an area where too little money and focus has been invested to this point.

Thank you to everybody who has sponsored me, and helped break past the target of £1000.

I ran as Cyril the Squirrel in the Mascot Gold Cup at Wetherby Racecourse on Sunday 27th April in memory of my brother Chris. 

Chris worked alongside the fundraising team at Sue Ryder Care and designed the website for the Mascot Gold Cup 2008.

He tragically died from a rare brain tumour on 31st March 2008 at Manorlands Hospice, Oxenhope at the age of 29.
