Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. For those of you who know us well, athlete is perhaps not a word you would use to describe any of us. None of us will be on a plane to Beijing this summer. But believe me; the British selectors are missing a trick! On the morning of June 15th 2008 David, Cameron, Paul, and Martin will rendezvous at George Square, Glasgow, to run the Men’s 10 k in aid of Erskine (www.erskine.org.uk). One Kenenisa Bekele of Ethiopia currently holds the Olympic record over this distance. He ran it in 27mins 5 seconds; don’t know about you but that sounds a bit slow to me! Not only are we trying to raise cash for a very worthy cause; but I’m utterly convinced one of us will be the new 10 k record holders come the end of the race!! To achieve such glory, motivation must be strong! If you would like to be able to tell your friends and family that you helped inspire a record breaking performance, please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Erskine will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support. David, Cameron, Paul, Martin
