Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Dear all on Sunday 23rd May, Lola Betty Freer arrived in the world much to the shock of her parents Laura and Danny as she shouldn't be here until the end of July. As Lola arrived 9 weeks early she had to spend 5 weeks at Kings Mill Hospitals Neo Natal Unit.
The care that the NICU staff gave to Lola was second to none. Not only did they provide Lola with every fighting chance, they also gave Laura and Danny the support and help that they needed too.
As you can imagine this was a very difficult and scary time for both Laura and Danny and all their family and friends, as such I will be completeing the Coast to Coast cycle race from Whitehaven to Whitley Bay on the 15th, 16th and 17th July to raise funds for the Emily Harris Foundation which provides support to parents of premature babies at Kings Mill Hospital and financial assistance to the unit.
Please give as much as you can to this local charity to help us say thanks for what the staff at the NICU have done for Lola.
Thanks
Dave
