Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Please donate towards a gruelling four day cycle ride through the hills of Sicily commencing 21st May 2009.
The funds raised will support vital medical research into a rare incurable children's disease called Lowe syndrome which affects the brain, eyes, kidneys, bones and muscles sadly leading to a short life expectancy.
The Lowe Syndrome Trust (www.lowetrust.com) was founed in June 2000 by parents of a child diagnosed with the Lowe disease. Since that time, the charity, which is extremely small, has funded research projects at Dundee University, Manchester University, UCL London, Imperial College London, Moorfields eye hospital London, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, The University of California and Purdue University in the USA all in the hope of better treatments and a cure of this most devastating disease.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Lowe Syndrome Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
