Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted)- FIREWALK · 13 November 2008 ·

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

On the evening of the 13th of November I'm going to walk across fire and I'm looking for sponsorship to raise money for the Hospice of St. Francis, Berkhamsted.

Part of my decision to take part was based on the fact that I think walking across fire will be an interesting experience and opportunities to do so will be rare in my life. However, I'm also fully aware of the great work that the hospice does and how valuable a resource it is for the terminally ill and their families, so I'm in it for the money too.

It's dangerous and I might get hurt. The organisers say I probably won't. But "probably" still sounds like I could. Please give generously.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks for your support!
