Hello

Thanks for visiting my charity page.

For those who have known me for a long time will find it most amusing (and probably unbelievable) that I am running a marathon.  More believable is that it started as a bet after a couple of pints in the pub one evening.  Unfortunately, the bloke I bet against runs marathons for breakfast - damn!

Anyway, Ed and I are running the New York marathon.  We were originally just going to do it for fun.  However, I tragically lost a colleague and friend, James Eyers, in a car accident earlier this year and James was a secret supporter of the Charity Dorothy House (see their website for what they do).  James' friends and family have already raised over £20,000 for Dorothy House and I would like to continue their good work. I have set a small target of £100 per mile, so please dig deep and help me raise some money for this worthy cause. We have entered the marathon privately, so every penny donated will go to the charity.
